Raw

As of this writing, this has been the last studio album released by Wagdug Futuristic Unity, which I'm assuming is because Kyono has been devoting himself to his newer group T.C.L., but it's unfortunate since this album has me hyped for some new Wagdug material! This album is entirely songs from Hakai and Nu Riot done with the backing band Kyono started using with R.A.M, and the result is a lot better than you might expect. Some of the songs on Hakai that I wasn't feeling too much, like Hakai and Why?, have melody and rhythm worked into them just by doing them with a punk band, and the songs that were already nice and melodic have new life breathed into them! Kyono clearly got more comfortable with this band, and it shows.

Seriously, pick this album up whenever you get the chance, it rules! Unfortunately, none of the versions for this album seem to be available on YouTube, so I can't hyperlink anything through the below tracklist, but make that all the more reason to track down a copy of this album. Listening to this album made me like R.A.M a lot more than the first time I'd listened to it, simply because I was now able to get into Kyono's utilization of the new Wagdug band. If you're a fan of Mad, or a fan of Wagdug, or just a fan of Kyono, you need to pick this up. It's absolutely worth it.
